FLOWER SHOW: The Ladywell flower show for people with disabilities will take place tomorrow (Thursday). Open to people who use Lewisham's day service, categories include hanging baskets, miniature gardens, ceramic garden features and home-grown produce. It takes place from noon to 3.30pm at the Ladywell Centre, 148 Dressington Avenue, Brockley. For more information, call 020 8690 8140.
DOG MESS: In a bid to tackle dog fouling in Lewisham, a special event was held last Friday. More than 30 people attended Bellingham Play Park ,where environment officers were raising awareness that dog fouling is an offence. Officers were handing out leaflets, answering questions and marking the roads with the Bag It and Bin It logo.
JOB HELP: A leaflet aimed at helping youngsters find jobs has been launched in Greenwich borough. Futurework includes information on growing areas of employment and details on local transport. Copies are available at libraries or by calling Greenwich Education Business Partnership on 020 8319 0610.
CARERS' SUPPORT: The Lewisham and Greenwich Branch of the Alzheimer's Society holds carers' support meetings on the first Monday of every month. Sessions are at the age Exchange, Blackheath Village. During public holidays, the meeting moves to the second Monday of the month. Call 020 8927 2331.
